Review of The Rest of the 2006 Tour.
2006 was a fantastic year for Polecats fans, with several great gigs.
First the legendary Ace Cafe in London.
The stage was a bit on the small side, but this did not deter the lads, who gave a classic performance in front of a very enthusiastic crowd.
Glasgow came next with Andy Neal taking over on lead guitar as Boz had Morrissey duty. No stage, no lights but still another memorable gig.
Southend was possibly the strangest Polecats gig I've ever been to.
The venue was a back room in a Seaside hotel, but the oddest thing was that when the band started to play, instead of the usual rush to get close to the stage, the audience remained in their seats, perhaps this is a Southend tradition!
On to Manchester a delightful club called Satan's Hollow with decor that has to be seen to be believed! The stage was a circular slightly raised platform in the middle of the room, which gave you a chance to see the band from all angles.
