7th October 2006 Cruise Inn Amsterdam
When I first saw
the Cruise Inn, I thought it's a big shed and indeed that's
what it is. Having said that, it's a great rockin' venue and
well run by an enthusiastic crew. Now to the Polecats, as usual
a great performance with the added bonus of an unusual set
list instead of the usual offerings, we were also treated to
songs that the band don't usually play live. Their version of
Brand New Cadillac needs to be heard to be believed. We also
got Down the Line, Woodpecker rock, Boppin' High School Baby
and Shakin' all Over amongst others.
Boz sang vocals on Train kept a rollin and Phil did Jitterbop
baby.
Soundcheck at Cruise Inn Takes
a while to load.
I believe we have Fran Swart to thank for the following photo's-
Thanks Fran.
8th October 2006 De Kroeg, Geldrop nr
Eindhoven.

It's 3 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon, We're in a pub in
Geldrop a small town not far from Eindhoven, not the best start for
a gig.
How wrong can I be, the place soon filled up and at 4 o'clock
the Polecats took to the stage, what can I say? As usual they rose
to the occasion, the performance they gave was vintage Polecats,
including a leap from the stage from Tim, that resulted in him
pulling a bracket from the ceiling A wonderful way to round off a
great weekend. Every Sunday should be spent this way.
My thanks to everyone who made me feel really welcome in
Holland, Dutch or otherwise, I will be back hopefully with the
Polecats.
If anyone has any more photos of this gig, please share!
